1.2 Representation of Blue Angels Virtual
Members are expected to represent Blue Angels Virtual with professionalism and respect. Any behavior that brings disrepute to the organization or its members will not be tolerated.
1.3 Respect and Inclusivity
All members must treat others with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or bullying will result in immediate disciplinary action. A welcoming and inclusive environment is our priority.
1.4 Relaxed Culture, Serious Standards
Blue Angels Virtual is a laid-back and enjoyable environment, but members are expected to uphold professional standards during operations and interactions. While we encourage fun and camaraderie, adherence to policies and proper conduct is non-negotiable.
2. Membership Requirements
2.1 Minimum Age
All members must be at least 13 years old to join Blue Angels Virtual, in compliance with VATSIM’s policies and online privacy regulations.

3.1 Adherence to the VSOA Code
Blue Angels Virtual is a Virtual Special Operations Airline (VSOA). Members are required to review and comply with the policies in the VATSIM Special Operations Policy (link).
3.2 Military Operations Standards
All military-style operations, including formation flying and air-to-air refueling, must adhere to VATSIM’s guidelines. Misrepresentation of such activities is strictly prohibited.
3.3 Airspace and Procedures

4. Communication and Behavior
4.1 Communication Platforms
Blue Angels Virtual uses Discord as our primary communication platform. Members must behave respectfully and use these platforms appropriately.
4.2 Inappropriate Content
Sharing inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content on VA platforms is strictly prohibited.
4.3 Dispute Resolution
Disputes should be resolved respectfully and privately whenever possible. If escalation is necessary, contact VA leadership for assistance.
- All flights must be logged in the VA’s system.
- Pilots must conduct proper pre-flight planning, including route planning, fuel calculations, and reviewing weather conditions.
- ATC instructions must always be followed during VATSIM operations.
5. Operational Guidelines
5.2 Training and Proficiency
Pilots must complete the Blue Angels Virtual structured training program before advancing to specialized operations or aircraft (e.g., F/A-18).
5.3 Approved Aircraft
Pilots must use Blue Angels Virtual-approved aircraft and liveries for official flights. Unauthorized modifications are prohibited.
6. Training and Certification
6.1 Structured Training Program
Blue Angels Virtual provides a progressive training program, including:
- Basic proficiency training in the Cessna 172.
- Advanced training in the T-6 Texan II or Cessna 172.
- Specialized operations training for the F/A-18 Hornet.
6.2 Competency Checks
Members must pass competency checks before participating in advanced operations or high-performance aircraft flights.
6.3 Advanced Special Operations
Members engaging in formation flying, tactical navigation, or air-to-air refueling must complete advanced-level training.
7. Disciplinary Actions

Disciplinary action may be taken for:

Members are responsible for maintaining the security of their VA accounts and reporting any breaches immediately.
